A rare and immersive cultural experience, Chimanrao to Dashavatar is a unique audio-visual entertaining talk show presented by veteran writer, actor, and theatre legend Mr. Dilip Prabhavalkar, one of the most respected figures in Indian performing arts.
With a career spanning five decades across theatre, literature, television, and cinema, Mr. Prabhavalkar has created some of the most iconic characters in Marathi and Hindi entertainment. From the very first TV serial Chimanrao Gundyabhau to legendary Tatya Vinchu (Zapatlela) and Nandu (Chaukat Raja) to Mahatma Gandhi (Lage Raho Munna Bhai – Best Actor National Award), his performances have left an indelible mark on generations of audiences.
His extraordinary portrayal of all ten avatars of Lord Vishnu in Dashavatar stands as a milestone in Indian acting history.
